Pregnant fuck in kitchen.  Hey everyone, I am a 23 year old in university who wants to seriously become a free sperm donor. I want to help a person/couple who, for whatever reason, cannot have a child on their own. I do not want to go to a sperm bank because 1) I want it to have a choice on who I help, and 2) give an option to people who cannot afford it.

I have made a post on Voy and got several responses but want to know more about the process before moving forward. Also, are there any other serious Donor sites that I should check out?

I would want to make sure that the couple had the means to support the child financially (employment, housing) and are decent people. Is there any way to determine this, other than just taking their word? I really don’t want to help bring a child into this world only for them to have horrible parents. Is it a judgement call? Is there anything else I should specifically look out for? (For example: on Voy I received a response from a woman who seemed mentally ill and therefore I declined to help her)

I understand there are different types of insemination. There’s “intercourse” impregnation (NI, PI) and there’s artificial impregnation (IUI, IVF). Is there anything specific I should be careful about here? What about methods of sperm transfer? I would prefer to go AI as it seems more professional and then I would not have to worry about STI. I have also read that in California (my state) it’s important to do AI for documentation purposes.

About documentation: are there any specific legally binding papers I should have donors sign? Both to transfer rights (to them) and to waive child support? Is this something only a lawyer can help me with? If so I am out of luck because I do not have the money.

And then what about shipping sperm? From my understanding it requires special tools and costs money. What are your experiences with that? How can I learn more about that?

I have read about sperm count, is it important that I get this tested?

I want to know if there are any other tips that older, more experienced donors/recipients can give me. Again, this something I have been seriously contemplating for some time now and would appreciate serious answers.

I am sorry if this was a long read but I wanted to make sure I addressed all questions/concerns that I had. Thank you to anyone who replies!
